Westfab Engineering was established in 2003 with the primary aim of providing welding and fabrication services to both small and medium sized companies in the local area and beyond.
Over the years we have grown and expanded to meet the demands of customers both existing and new, all the while retaining our original remit of ‘Quality fabrications – Finished well’.
Quality comes first. We make sure that every minute detail is looked into while manufacturing. Our focus is 100% on client needs and satisfaction.
Work Space Expansion
Our work space has expanded to enable us to tackle larger projects, as well as multiple concurrent projects. In doing so, we have been able to find space to house new machinery and tooling. This helps us to push our capabilities and enables us to keep up with our customers’ requirements. These can range from a completely bespoke fabrication, to a semi-production run of components.
Quality Equipment
In 2009, the installation of a 4m x 2m Esprit/ Hypertherm CNC plasma cutting system enabled us to reach new levels of productivity. This also gave us the added benefit of ensuring an increase in accuracy as well as infinite repeatability.
Other recent additions to our machinery inventory include a 165-tonne semi-CNC brake press, an 8-foot lathe and a semi CNC pipe bender. All housed in our workshop with overhead gantry cranes and jib cranes. This equipment facilitates the safe handling and manipulation of both raw material and finished products.
A CNC Saw is a highly efficient way of precision cutting Steel, Stainless and Aluminium in higher volumes whilst preserving quality.
